C. Information from Third Parties
We may receive limited information from third parties who help us operate the Site, including form-handling providers (currently Web3Forms, which processes inquiry submissions) and content delivery providers (such as Google Fonts, which serves typography). We do not purchase personal information from data brokers for marketing.
03How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- Responding to your inquiries, demo requests, and pilot requests;
- Scheduling and conducting product demonstrations and pilots;

04Legal Basis for Processing
For individuals subject to the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the United Kingdom GDPR, we process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for marketing communications you opt into and for any non-essential cookies;
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps — to respond to your inquiries and pilot requests;
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Site, and to pursue our reasonable commercial interests in a manner that respects your rights;
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
05Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses a limited set of cookies and similar technologies. These fall into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function properly;
- Functional — to remember preferences and improve usability;
- Third-party — set by services we use (for example, Google Fonts may set technical cookies when serving typography).
The Site does not currently use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral retargeting cookies. If we add such tools, we will update this Policy and present a cookie consent banner where required by applicable law. You may also control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality.
06How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers and processors who help us operate the Site and our business (including form-handling, email delivery, hosting, content delivery, and analytics providers). These parties are contractually limited to using your information solely to provide their services to us.
- Professional advisors (lawyers, auditors, accountants, and insurers) when reasonably necessary in connection with their services.
- Authorities or third parties when required by law, regulation, court order, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AXION, our users, or others.
- In connection with a transaction — if AXION or substantially all of its assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
- With your consent or at your direction.
07Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit using industry-standard TLS, encryption at rest where applicable, access controls based on the principle of least privilege, and periodic security reviews.
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately at privacy@axion.io.
08Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods depend on the nature of the information and the purpose for which it was collected.
Inquiry and lead-form submissions are typically retained for up to [24 months] from the date of last interaction, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law or contract or unless you have requested earlier deletion. Server logs are typically retained for up to 90 days. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information indefinitely for analytical purposes.

10International Data Transfers
AXION operates globally, and information we collect may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your country of residence. For transfers from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms recognized under applicable law, including the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and the UK Information Commissioner's Office, where applicable.
11Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@axion.io and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those parties. Once you leave the Site, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
13Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no industry-standard interpretation of these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. You can manage your privacy preferences through other tools described in this Policy.
14Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. The "Last Updated" date above will indicate when revisions were last made. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or, where appropriate, by direct notice. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of a revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

If you are an EU/UK resident and are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to contact your national or regional data protection authority.
